It uses footage archived by Nakkheeran Gopal, a veteran journalist from Tamil Nadu and the editor and publisher of the Tamil political investigative journal Nakkheeran. Incidentally, Nakkheeran came to national fame in the 1990s when he interviewed Veerappan.
